For Dr. Graham Shadwick, dentistry isn’t just a career—it is a family legacy. He was introduced to the profession at a very young age, watching his grandfather treat patients and care for neighbors in rural Oklahoma. Seeing firsthand how much of an impact a compassionate doctor could have on a small community inspired Dr. Shadwick to follow the exact same path. Today, he brings that lifelong passion and small-town dedication to the patients of Paso Robles.
Dr. Shadwick loves the unique blend of art and science that modern dentistry requires, but what he loves most is the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with his patients. As the new owner of Oaks Dental Group, his goal is to provide a welcoming, relaxing environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and thoroughly cared for. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that genuinely improve their daily quality of life.
Education & Credentials
Dr. Shadwick earned his Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities at Baylor University before completing his formal dental training at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Dr. Shadwick continued his training, completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry as well. He is a licensed general dentist with the Dental Board of California and stays current on the latest advancements in restorative, cosmetic and surgical care to ensure his patients receive the highest standard of modern treatment.
Outside the Office
When he is not busy making patients smile at Oaks Dental Group, Dr. Shadwick is fully embracing life on the Central Coast. An avid outdoor enthusiast, you can frequently find him outside on his bike, catching live music, or exploring the region’s stunning coastlines with his beautiful wife Kelly. Coming from the Rocky Mountains, he is looking forward to trading snowy ski slopes for local beach days and enjoying the incredible food and wine culture that makes Paso Robles so special.
